In the Men's A the visitors put up a terrific fight against the team that finished runner-up in the National Finals. The home side took the first leg by the odd frame and followed this with two more 6-5 legs, before the visitors reversed the score in the final leg to lose a very close match 23-21. James Hammond was in top form, winning his four frames.

In the B match the visitors proved much too strong, taking the first leg 6-5. They followed up with a 7-4 second leg win but it was in the third leg where the match was put beyond the home team, when the visitors won it 9-2. A final leg 7-4 win left an easy 29-15 victory.

The Ladies match proved a see-saw affair with Norfolk taking a 7-4 lead and then edged the second leg 6-5. The visitors stretched their lead with another 7-4 leg but then allowed the home team back into the game by losing the final leg 7-4, yet still recorded a 24-20 win.

The Youth team, who unfortunately were two players short, put up a brave fight despite having to give the home side eight frames. In the frames actually played they shared the score 18 all, but the byes meant the visitors lost the match 26-18.
