In the Men's A Norfolk were without captain Martin Wood through illness, and with Kevin Ellis also missing against the team which finished runners-up in the recent National Finals, they knew they were in for a hard game. And so it proved, as the visitors quickly went 4-0 ahead and won the first leg 8-3. The home team managed to rally in the second leg to edge it 6-5, but two further 8-3 legs left Norfolk well beaten 30-14.

The B match was the opposite, with Norfolk giving full debuts to Alex Lewis and Luke Wassell (who were Youth players last year); they ran away with the first leg 10-1. This was followed by an 8-3 second leg and halfway down the third they had the match won, completing two further 8-3 legs. They recorded an emphatic 34-10 victory with no less than five players unbeaten.

As usual the Ladies match was very exciting with the home side just edging the first three legs 6-5 and looking set to record a good win, but the visitors had other ideas and stormed down the final leg losing only two frames to snatch a 24-20 win.

The Youth team are still learning and went 7-4 down in the first leg. The second leg saw them trying very hard to get on terms but were edged out 6-5, and two more 7-4 wins for the visitors clinched a comfortable 27-17 victory. However the home players are showing signs of improving.
