With the Men's A fighting for top spot they soon found themselves behind losing the first leg 7-4, but they edged back into the match by winning the second leg 6-5. Keeping the pressure on the home side Norfolk took the lead with a 7-4 third leg win, and with a 9-2 final leg victory they went on to record a terrific result to win the match 26-18. Unfortunately news came through that Suffolk had pipped them to the title by two points. Kevin Ellis was in top form going through the match unbeaten.

In the Men's B it was an even start. The home side took the first leg 6-5, the visitors reversed that in the second to level the scores. Norfolk then took control of the match with a 7-4 third leg win, and a repeat of that score in the final leg saw a 25-19 victory for Norfolk to record a runaway win in the regional league. Ben Annison won his four frames.

The Ladies, who were up against their nearest rivals, had a very up and down match. Winning the first leg 8-3, they lost seven games in a row to lose the second leg 7-4, then fought back to edge the third leg 6-5 before winning the last nine games to record a 27-17 victory. Captain Lynne Pinches won her four games.

The Youth team, who had to settle for the runners-up spot this year, won the first leg 6-5 but from there on went downhill losing the second leg 6-5, the third 7-4, and the final leg 8-3 to lose the match 26-18. Overall though it has been a good season for the county with two teams through to the National Finals, and the other two finishing runners-up.
