A great comeback by Norfolk B
Norfolk travelled to Essex and came away with three wins and one loss.

In the A section the visitors took the first leg 6-5, but the second leg saw the home side reverse the score to level the match. In the third the home team went ahead with a 7-4 leg win. Norfolk came back again in the final leg, but were just unable to reverse that score, winning the leg 6-5 and losing the match 23-21. Danny Gibson was in top form winning all four frames. |

The B match saw the visitors in trouble with the home team taking the first leg 7-4, and it got worse in the second with an 8-3 home leg win. Norfolk hit back hard by taking the third leg 9-2, and the home side could not stop them taking the final leg 8-3 for a 24-20 victory. |

Essex Ladies team were two players short and had no answer to the Norfolk players, who took the first leg 8-3, the second 9-2, the third 10-1, and the final leg 8-3 for a resounding 35-9 win. Katie Brown, Dawn Arnett, Becki Jordan, Karen Halliday and Sarah Maisey were all unbeaten. Norfolk also dominated the Youth Match with 8-3, 8-3, 7-4 and 8-3 leg wins for a comfortable 31-13 win which saw Jay Bullent, Tony Rumball, George Fryer and Arron Hunter all unbeaten. |
