The Men's A match was the usual tense affair with the visitors taking the first leg by the odd frame, but the home side reversed the score in the second to level things up at the halfway stage. The match took a dramatic turn in the third leg with Suffolk dropping just two frames to take a strong hold on the match, and although Norfolk fought back in the final leg with a 7-4 win, they could not prevent the home side taking the match 24-20. Danny Gibson was in outstanding form, winning his four frames.

The B team had a very strong squad, and although Suffolk had a much better team than in the past few years, they could not match the visitors. Norfolk edged the first two legs 6-5 but then took the final two legs 8-3 for a comfortable 28-16 victory, with no fewer than seven players winning 3-1.

The top story of the day was with the Ladies, playing the reigning regional champions. In a very close match Norfolk won the first three legs 6-5 and the home team took the final leg by the same score, for Norfolk to win 23-21. Dawn Arnett won all four frames.

The Youth team played at a separate venue and with some new players in the squad had a topsy-turvy match. Taking the first leg 7-4 it looked likely they would have a comfortable afternoon - but the home side had other ideas and won the next two legs 6-5, to trail by just one frame into the final leg. The visitors then picked their game up again to take the final leg 7-4 for a 24-20 victory.
